In-House Catering Support
This service is designed to assist and help develop In-House Catering Departments to improve their catering provision.
The level of input and support really does depend on the calibre and skill level of the kitchen brigade.
The benefits are to fold, clients have piece of mind that the catering department is receiving professional advice and guidance and the kitchen brigade receives on going development, innovative marketing input and mentoring.
Reports will be submitted to clients following every visit to keep them updated on progress.
Our Approach
The programme detailed below is designed to be spread throughout the year and can be tailored to meet the skill level of the kitchen brigade.

Two day training course in Food Hygiene and Safety from RSPH appointed trainer.

Train employees in HACCP and develop a catering operations manual that links safe food preparation with cleanliness of the premises.

Register the food premises with Local Authority, also register with FSA and SFT to receive updated catering related information.

Meet with EHO and review recommendations of last report with a view to achieving above average for Scores on the Doors.

Agree on the best approach to menu analysis to meet the requirements of the food and nutrition standards

Kitchen auditing and mentoring support for the Catering Manager.

Opportunity to attend external conferences to network with other In-House Catering Departments.
